TOYS McCOY 'Taxi Driver' M-65 Field Jacket - Olive
We all love a vintage reproduction M-65 of course, but this new option from Japan’s Toys McCoy brand is something a little special. The brand have been studying Scorsese’s work to bring us the perfect version of the jacket worn by anti-hero Travis Bickle, in Taxi Driver. A 100% cotton has been used for the outer shell of this jacket, along with a lighter cotton lining. A slightly oversized shape means this piece can be effortlessly layered up, while drawstrings at the hem and waistband allow the shape to be cinched in for comfort.
The front offers four pleated utility pockets with snap fasteners for security and storage, while the collar boasts a concealed hood underneath the zipper fastening. Snap fasteners line the front, underneath which the brand have painstakingly recreated a Conmar style zip. In final touches of excellence, Toys McCoy have included Travis’ original patches, including the ‘King Kong Company’ option on the left shoulder, and the iconic ‘We Are The People’ badge on the right chest.
